Linda Thompson was born a storyteller, but it took a lifetime to write her Biography. A few years ago the threads of her own background began to intertwine: her French-Romanian mother's lipstick-and-face-oil morning ritual, a career spent between luxury and editorial, an unfailing conviction that less but better is more. So began a new chapter, one filled with beauty—and oil. Several years after her first collection of face oil blends, she started Biography on the belief that life is a daring project. The formulas follow from that: a short list of actives, each one chosen because it makes the others work harder.
