Linda Thompson was born a storyteller, but it took a lifetime to create her Biography. A few years ago, she found a few threads of her own background intertwining: her French-Romanian mother’s simple lipstick-and-face-oil morning ritual, her own career working at the intersection of luxury and editorial, an unfailing conviction that less (but better) is more. So began a new chapter: one filled with beauty—and oil. Ten years after creating a collection of much-loved and much-lauded oil blends, she began Biography in the belief that life is a daring project, and in the hope that like minds would see their own story in hers. These days, her time is spent spreading the good word about active oils and scripting the next era of beauty in context.
